Hey there!

My name is Annika and I am a Game Design Graduate (2023) at the UE in Hamburg, Germany.

I focus myself on Game Design, with a passion for User Experience Design. Leading the player through the game, investigating their experience and tweaking the game design to achieve the desired outcome is one of my simple pleasures when it comes to designing.

Games created outside of university:

A Message   (2D educational mobile game in cooperation with the Goethe Institute)

• I have been the game design lead, did the narrative design and helped with art assets and did the character animation.

The puppeteer (3D simulation game, GMTK game jam submission)

• I have been in charge of the game design and game art assets

Games created in university:

6th Semester:

Verblassen (3D Walking Simulator, serious game)

• I have been in charge of the game design, art assets and historical research

3rd Semester:

Valdao  (3D Adventure)

• I have provided organic 3D assets and textures. 

Hiding in the Closet  (2D platformer, storydriven)

• I have been the in charge of the game art and narrative design. I provided all of the 2D assets and animations and also did level design.

2nd Semester:

Alice's Encounters in Wonderland  (Walking Sim)

• I have been in charge of the game design, game art and narrative design. I did organic 3D assets and hardsurface assets and the level design.

Bloody Nightmare (Pixel Art Platformer)

• I have been in charge of the game art. I provided PixelArt Assets and animations as well as doing the level design.
